Not as many details for this one, beside what looks to be an extremely odd shape:
According to the GPL code currently out:
- Alpine CPU
- Quantenna QSR10G
- Aquantia AQR107
- RGB/Aura lighting
- M2 SSD support
(edit: added Aura and M2)
The Alpine CPU model on RT-AC9600 is AL5140 (Quad Core) 1.7GHZ, the network switch is a 5 port AQR107 (10GBiT) plus a Realtek 4 port switch Realtek (Gigabit), which is quite weird.
So, 1x WAN + 4x LAN 10gbit + 4x LAN 1gbit.
Wireless chipset QSR10G is entirely Quantenna inside for both radios 2G and 5G.
For delite of many the M.2 SSD availability is also present on RT-AC9600, just like RT-AC828 business model.
Most probably, the ASUS GT-AC9600 router will make it's appearance during Computex Taipei 2017 from 30th May 2017 - 3rd June 2017.
And if one looks @ it's label carefully, it's slated as 126.96.36.199.380. XXXX at the moment, whether it will get bumped to 382.XXXX, who knows until the shipping version is out.
Then we will know more .... too many variables in play.
